The CD is designed to enable you to practice effective stress management techniques at home. It is important to practice the physical feeling of relaxation, so that feeling relaxed becomes natural and easy.

Track 1 - Breathing Techniques

Learn to how to switch on your relaxation response using your own natural resource – your breath. Practicing breathing techniques can help you to control your stress reaction, leaving you more able to cope when addressing stressful situations.

Track 2 – Total Relaxation

Learn the deeply relaxing method of progressive muscle relaxation. By tensing each muscle group in the body you will notice how tension feels, and by letting go you will replace that tension with relaxation. This will help you recognise your tension hot spots and enable you to become aware of a deal with stress more effectively.

Track 3 – Visualisation

Guided imagery can help to heal your mind and body, using your senses and imagination to take you to a safe and secure place in your mind. Visualisations can be deeply relaxing and help to distract a chattering mind.
